MWPGM Eugene Anderson, Jr. (IN), 33°

President

MWPGM Eugene Anderson Jr., affectionately known as Gino, became the 46^th MWGM of the Jurisdiction of Indiana in 2018. In 2014 & 2015 he served as the Right Worshipful Grand Secretary. It was then that Gino was introduced to the inner workings of Grand Lodge and aspired to one day lead the organization. 

Gino was raised as a Master Mason in July of 2008 and in 2012 & 2013 served as the Worshipful Master of Trinity Lodge #18, in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his Masonic career, Gino has served the Order in many other capacities. That servitude has extended beyond Grand Lodge positions and include leadership in other Masonic houses, to include both Scottish Rite and York Rite.

RWJGW Dorian Smith (MI), 33°

Executive Treasurer 

Brother Dorian M. Smith, a native Michigander, was born and currently resides in the Metropolitan Detroit area. He is married to his wife, Michelle, of 20 years and to their union they have two children, Kendall (22) and Kennedy (16).

Brother Smith received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University in 1996 with a major in Accountancy and minors in Business Administration, Finance and Mathematics. He received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the world renown Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor in 2002 with a concentration in Corporate Strategy. Brother Smith is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Professionally, Brother Smith spent 12 years in Commercial Banking with First of America and LaSalle Banks rising to the title of Vice President. During his banking career, he provided financing and ancillary banking services to companies that generated annual revenue between $50 million and $5 billion. For the past 11 years, Brother Smith has worked for General Motors in several capacities including budget/forecasting, vehicle pricing and incentives development. Currently Brother Smith works in Global Treasury and is responsible for the funding of non-North American business units which include execution of wires, cash pooling, intercompany loans and buying/selling of foreign currencies.

Masonically, Brother Smith was raised in Abiff Lodge #21 located in Detroit, MI on March 15, 1997. He served as its Worshipful Master from 2001 to 2003 being recognized as the Michigan Jurisdiction’s Worshipful Master of the Year in 2003.  He was elected RWJGW for the Michigan Jurisdiction in 2018 and has chaired or served on various committees such as Budget and Finance, Compliance and Process Improvement and the Michigan Education and Leadership Program. Brother Smith was elected to the office of Executive Treasurer of this conference in 2018.

MWPGM Darrell E. Morton (IN), 33°

Executive Secretary

Darrell E. Morton was the only child born to Mary Barlow-Morton and Ernest B. Morton on August 16, 1949. He attended IPS elementary school #20 and graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1967. He then went on to attend Indiana Central Business College at night (3) years 1967-1970.

MWPGM Morton has a passion for helping his community he has been involved in the community for several decades, but none of his many activities has been as rewarding to him as watching three (3) of the members he personally recruited to join the Boy Scouts make to that high rank of Eagle Scout in 1994 & 1995. A level achieved by only two percent of all Boy Scouts. Darrell volunteered to be Scoutmaster of an IPL-sponsored inner city Boy Scout troop in 1988. Darrell was named Scout Master of the Year in 1991. Darrell has served as church treasurer, twenty-three years as chairman of the board of stewards at Trinity CME Church in Indianapolis. He was also appointed to the Joint Board of Finance by Bishop E. Lynn Brown to serve the Second Episcopal District of the C.M.E. Church, which covers Cincinnati-Dayton-Indiana Region.

SDGM Lamont R. Cole (MI)

Recording Secretary 

Lamont R. Cole is a Special Deputy Grand Master for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Michigan. This appointment allows Cole to lend his professional expertise in non-profit, business and educational structures into actionable processes to advance Prince Hall Masonry in Michigan.

Brother Cole is a former Detroiter who loves working with the community, he worked as Senior Program Manager for the Freedom Institute’s staple program Freedom Weekend; where he managed 20 major events that took place in a time span of three days with a budget of $500,000.00. Cole has also served as Outreach Staff for the Detroit Branch of the NAACP; likewise, as the Interim Executive Director for the Grand Rapids Branch of the NAACP.

As a Senior Consultant to National Community Development Institute (Oakland, California), Lamont facilitated conversations that focused on bridging the educational divide with the Douglas & Maria DeVos Foundation. Lamont also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work and Davenport University’s School of Urban Education.
